Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 61 35 2AZ .

Pull control unit (3) out of equipment carrier (4) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Make sure control unit (3) is correctly installed in equipment carrier (4).

Replacement: 

Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .

Carry out calibration: 

  • Service function
  • Body
  • Display and information functions
  • Camera-based assist system
  • Calibration of lane departure warning
