Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

NOTE: Cable shoe (4) is currently no longer installed.
If installed, release screw (2) and remove cable shoe (4).
Tightening torque 61 35 3AZ .

Pull central gateway module (3) off equipment holder (5) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Make sure central gateway module (3) is correctly installed in equipment holder (5).

Replacement: 

Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .

Perform FlexRay synchronization via path:

  • Body
  • Central Gateway Module
  • Initialize FlexRay
