Remove side lid,
refer to 86 21... REMOVING LID .
Remove gas spring, remove gas spring on hinge side only,
refer to 86 21... REMOVING GAS SPRING .

Unscrew bolt (1). Remove hinge (2). If fitted, remove spacer plate(s) (3).
