61 34... Removing and installing/replacing socket in center console (front)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove complete center console . See 51 16 165 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COMPLETE CENTER CONSOLE .
Detach plug connection holder (1) from center console (2).
Carefully pull LED (3) in direction of arrow out of center console (2).
Unlock catches (4) with a suitable tool.
Press socket (5) in direction of arrow out of center console (2).
Feed wiring harness (6) out of center console (2) and remove socket (5).
Installation:
Make sure socket (5) and LED (3) are correctly seated in center console (2).
Make sure wiring harness (6) is laid correctly.
