The origins of the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) manufactured by ZF dates back to 1974 with, at that time, a revolutionary rubber drive belt. After several years of development, a new generation of CVT has evolved, incorporating the use of a steel drive belt.

When to See a Mechanic
