2013 Mini Cooper Countryman, Standard TransSECTION 86 21 ... Removing Side Lid Hinge

NOTE: Remove side lid,
refer to 86 21 ... REMOVING LID .
Remove gas spring, remove gas spring on hinge side only,
refer to 86 21 ... REMOVING GAS SPRING .

Unscrew bolt (1). Remove hinge (2). If fitted, remove spacer plate(s) (3).

Installation: 

Pass screws (1) again through spacer tubes. Reinstall existing spacer plate(s) in its/their original position(s). Use new self-locking nuts.

Tightening Torque, refer to 86 21 HOOD .
