Remove wood trim on instrument panel on left.  . See 51 45 360 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING WOOD TRIM ON LEFT .

Release screws (1).

Feed lighting control unit (2) out in direction of arrow.

Disconnect plug connection behind and remove lighting control unit (2).
