Ignition Switch

NOTE: Steering wheel removed for clarity.











Removal and Installation

NOTICE: Do not remove the ignition lock cylinder and the ignition switch at the same time or damage to the column may result.

1. Depower the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). For additional information, refer to Restraint Systems.

2. Remove the 2 screws and the steering column opening cover.

3. Remove the 3 screws and the upper and lower steering column shrouds.

4. Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connector.

5. Push the 2 locking tabs inward and remove the ignition switch.





6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

7. Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to Restraint Systems.
