Pressure Feedback Exhaust Sensor: Service and Repair

2004 Mercury Sable V6-3.0L DOHC VIN SSECTION Service and Repair
DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE FEEDBACK EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) SYSTEM

REMOVAL

All vehicles
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Vehicles with roll restrictor support bar







2. Disconnect the emission hoses.







3. Remove the RH roll restrictor support bar through bolt.







4. Remove the LH roll restrictor support bracket through bolt.







5. Remove the roll restrictor support bar.
1 Remove the LH side roll restrictor support bar through bolt.
2 Remove the two upper bracket bolts.
3 Remove the lower bracket nut.
4 Remove the bracket.
5 Remove the roll restrictor support.







6. Disconnect the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the vacuum hoses.
3 Remove the nuts and the differential pressure feedback EGR system.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
