1998 Mercury Sable V6-3.0L DOHC VIN SSECTION Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Push down and rotate the fuel tank pressure sensor counter-clockwise.

CAUTION: To prevent injury or vehicle damage the fuel tank pressure sensor must be disengaged from the fuel tank before it can be removed.

2. Lower fuel tank.
3. Remove the fuel tank pressure sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Leak Test the evaporative emission system.
3. Perform the Evaporative Emission Running Loss Monitor Repair Verification Drive Cycle Test.
