LIGHTING (EXT): HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU: REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD Removal
3. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal
4. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD Removal
5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal
6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD UPPER NO. 3 PLATE Removal
7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Removal.
9. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Removal.
10. DISCONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side Removal.
11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal
12. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
13. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal
14. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal
15. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the nut.
(c) Disengage the guide and remove the headlight leveling ECU assembly.
