REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION
CAUTION:

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH Removal
5. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL LH Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal
7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH Removal
11. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
12. REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL RH Removal
13. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal
14. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL RH Removal
15. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
16. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE Removal
17. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET Removal
18. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX CARPET Removal
19. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
20. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal
21. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET BRACKET LH Removal
22. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET BRACKET RH Removal
23. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Removal
24. REMOVE NO. 3 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Removal
25. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Removal
26. REMOVE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Turn back the carpet.





(b) Disconnect the holder (with connectors).
(c) Remove the 3 bolts and center airbag sensor assembly.
