TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU:

REMOVAL
NOTE:
Before removing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the registered transmitter IDs of all wheels and write them down to use for re-registration of transmitter IDs Registration.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH Removal
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
6. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
7. REMOVE PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL RH Removal
9. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU





(a) Remove the nut.
(b) Disconnect the connector and remove the tire pressure warning ECU.
