The Jaguar Electronic Fuel Injection Tester (YWB 900) is being introduced to test XJ-S and XJ6 Series III fuel injection systems. The tester, which is supplied by Lucas, performs the following functions:
^ Detects and stores static, dynamic and intermittent fuel injection faults on XJ-S and XJ6 Series III vehicles.
^ Displays and prints fault information.
^ Provides step by step diagnostic procedures using the system software and diagnostic guides.
^ The system incorporates a hand held tester and can be used to diagnose faults during an actual vehicle road test.
The Jaguar Fuel Injection Tester enables time saving, efficient fault detection and diagnosis by measuring inputs and outputs to the fuel injection system and provides results on a pass/fail basis. Simple diagnostic routines can then be performed which require a minimum of vehicle disassembly.
