In an effort to prevent the earth's ozone layer from being destroyed by the release of chlorofluorcarbons (CFC's), the Federal government has taken steps to limit CFC production and use.

Freon recovery and recycling equipment is available to reduce the amount of CFC's released into the atmosphere. The use of this equipment is required by law in certain states.

Freon Recovery/Recycling equipment will become Jaguar Required Equipment beginning January 1, 1991.

The Freon recovery system recommended by Jaguar is supplied by OTC and can be purchased through the National Equipment Program.
