CYLINDER HEAD:
CYLINDER HEAD BOLTS - TORQUE SEQUENCE:
CAUTION: If cylinder head bolts are re-used, check their outer diameters before installation.
Apply engine oil to threads and seating surface of bolts.
Tighten all bolts to ..........98.1 Nm (10 kg-m, 72 ft. lbs.).
Completely loosen all bolts.
Tighten all bolts to ...........39.2 to 49.0 Nm (4.0 to 5.0 kg-m, 29 to 36 ft. lbs.).
Turn all bolts ...........60 to 65 (target: 60) degrees clockwise.
Turn all bolts ...........60 to 65 (target: 60) degrees clockwise again.
CAUTION: Check and confirm the tightening angle by using angle wrench or protractor. Avoid judgment by visual inspection without the tool.
