Alternator: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove radiator mounting bolt.
3. Disconnect reservoir hose and fan motor connectors.
4. Raise vehicle
5. Remove left-hand splash shield.
6. Disconnect oil pressure switch connector.
7. Loosen alternator bolts and remove alternator belt.
8. Disconnect battery positive terminal.
9. Lift radiator and remove alternator bolts and alternator.
10. Reverse procedure to install.

4. Raise vehicle
5. Remove left-hand splash shield.
6. Disconnect oil pressure switch connector.
7. Loosen alternator bolts and remove alternator belt.
8. Disconnect battery positive terminal.
9. Lift radiator and remove alternator bolts and alternator.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
