Cruise Control: Adjustments
1995 Hyundai Accent L4-1.5L SOHC Alpha EngineSECTION Adjustments
1. Remove cover of actuator.

2. Loosen throttle lever and intermediate pulley A, B and C adjusting and locking nuts, so intermediate pulley A, B, C and throttle lever move freely, Fig. 1.
3. Turn ignition switch to ON position, do not start engine.
4. Rotate intermediate pulley C in direction shown, keep pulley in contact with stopper, then tighten adjusting nut C to lessen inner cable play of accelerator cable. Unscrew adjusting nut C no more than 1/2 turn before intermediate pulley C begins to move.
5. Fix accelerator cable with locknut.
6. Tighten adjusting nut B to lessen play of throttle cable. When intermediate pulley B lever touches intermediate pulley C, unscrew adjusting nut B approximately one turn.
7. Fix throttle cable with locknut.
8. Tighten adjusting nut A to lessen inner play of cruise control cable. When intermediate pulley lever A touches intermediate pulley B, unscrew adjusting nut A approximately one turn.
9. Fix cruise cable with locknut.
10. After adjusting, check if end of fixed SAS is touching throttle lever stopper.
