2011 Honda CR-V EX, 2.4 RE4, BZHASECTION Recirculation Control Motor Test
NOTE: Before testing the motor, check for HVAC DTCs (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
  1. Disconnect the 7P connector from the recirculation control motor.
NOTE: Incorrectly applying power and ground to the recirculation control motor will damage it. Follow the instructions carefully.
  2. Connect battery power to terminal No. 1 of the recirculation control motor, and ground either terminal No. 5 or terminal No. 7. The motor should run smoothly to the Fresh position (terminal No. 5 connected to ground), or the Recirculate position (terminal No. 7 connected to ground). Disconnect battery power immediately when the motor stops running.
NOTE: Do not reverse the power and ground connections, or leave the recirculation control motor connected to power and ground after it has stopped running. These actions will damage the motor.
