NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review General Troubleshooting Information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).
- This code is indicated when PCM updating is incomplete, and can not be caused by a mechanical problem in the transmission.
- Update the A/T software in the PCM; K24Z1 engine (see PCM UPDATE ), K24Z6 engine (see PCM UPDATE ).
- Check whether the DTC P16C0 is indicated in the DTCs MENU with the HDS.
Is DTC P16C0 indicated?
YES -Replace the original PCM; K24Z1 engine (see PCM REPLACEMENT ), K24Z6 engine (see PCM REPLACEMENT ).
NO -PCM updating is complete.
