Malfunction Threshold
When the camshaft phase value is not 48.8 ° or less within the monitored area (camshaft phase control directed value plus failure judgment value) after 4.1 seconds have passed, or when the camshaft phase value is 20.0 ° or less and continues for 4.1 seconds or more, even when the VTC does not actuate.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
