Shift Lock Stop/Shift Lock Stop Cushion Replacement

NOTE:
Make sure not to get any silicone grease to the terminal part of the connectors and switches when applying silicone grease, if you have silicone grease on your hand or glove.
- Remove the shift lock solenoid (see SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID TEST ).
- Remove the shift lock stop (A) and the stop cushion (B), and replace the shift lock stop or stop cushion.
- Install the shift lock stop cushion on the shift lock stop.
- Apply silicone grease to the pin (C) on the shift lever bracket base, and install the shift lock stop over the pin. Keep the connector terminals free of silicone grease.
- Install the shift lock solenoid (see SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID TEST ).
