ECT Sensor 2 Replacement

2006 Honda Pilot LX, 3.5 YF1, J35A9SECTION ECT Sensor 2 Replacement
  1. Drain the engine coolant (see COOLANT REPLACEMENT ).
  2. Remove the engine cover (see step 1 under IGNITION COIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Disconnect the ECT sensor 2 2P connector (A).

  4. Remove ECT sensor 2 (B).
  5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new O-ring (C), then refill the radiator with engine coolant (see COOLANT REPLACEMENT ), and bleed air from the cooling system with the heater valve open.
