Voice Control Switch Test/Replacement
2006 Honda Pilot EX, 3.5 YF2, J35A9SECTION Voice Control Switch Test/Replacement
- Remove the driver's airbag assembly (see DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT ).
- Remove the two screws and cover (A) from the steering wheel.
- Remove the two screws from the audio remote/voice control switch (B).
- Disconnect the 4P connector from the audio remote/voice control switch.
- Measure the resistance between the No. 1 and No. 5 terminals in each switch position according to the table.RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
Position Resistance OFF About 10 kΩ TALK About 2.2 kΩ BACK About 630 Ω - If the resistance is not as specified, replace the voice control switch.
