Tailgate Lock Knob Switch Test

- Remove the tailgate trim panel (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TAILGATE ).
- Disconnect the 3P connector (A) from the actuator (B).
- Check for continuity between the 2 and 3 terminals in each switch position.
- There should be continuity with the knob switch in UNLOCK.
- There should be no continuity with the knob switch in LOCK.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
