The power tailgate can be opened and closed automatically by operating the dashboard switch or the keyless transmitter, and can be automatically closed by operating the inside tailgate switch. The power tailgate has two safety functions for safeguarding passengers: obstruction detection, and fall-down detection.

When to See a Mechanic
