2002 Honda Civic SiSECTION DTC B1960: MICU-Rear Junction Box Lost Communication with Climate Control Unit (A/C Message)

NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A  ).
  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
  3. Wait for 6 seconds or more.
  4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    Is DTC B1960 indicated? 

    1. YES  - Go to the MICU-rear junction box input test (see MICU - REAR JUNCTION BOX INPUT TEST  ).
    2. NO  - Go to the climate control unit troubleshooting (see CLIMATE CONTROL COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT TROUBLE ).
