2002 Honda Civic SiSECTION DTC B1959: MICU-Rear Junction Box Lost Communication with Relay Control Module (R/M Message)

NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then back ON (II).
- Wait for 6 seconds or more.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1959 indicated?
- YES - Go to step 5.
- NO - Intermittent failure, the communication line is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1005 and B1158 also indicated?
- YES - Go to the relay control module input test (see RELAY CONTROL MODULE INPUT TEST ).
- NO - Go to the MICU-rear junction box input test (see MICU - REAR JUNCTION BOX INPUT TEST ).
