Both the audio unit and rear control panel will display error codes when a problem is detected with the DVD player.
ERROR CODES
| Error Message | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| DVD DISC | FOCUS Error | Press the EJECT button and pull out the DVD. Check if it is inserted correctly in the DVD Player. Make sure the DVD is not scratched or damaged. |
| DVD ERR | Mechanical Error, or a DVD has been loaded in the CD player | Press the EJECT button and pull out the DVD. Check it for damage or deformation. If the DVD cannot be pulled out, or the error message does not disappear after the DVD is ejected, substitute a known-good DVD player unit and recheck. If symptom/indication goes away, replace the original DVD player unit. Do not try to force the DVD out of the player. |
| DVD HOT | High Temperature | Will disappear when the temperature returns to normal. |
| LOW BAT | Low Vehicle Battery Voltage | Run the engine to recharge the battery. |
