Sliding Door Handle Switch Test
2002 Honda Civic SiSECTION Sliding Door Handle Switch Test

- Remove rear side trim panel. See REAR SIDE TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect sliding door handle switch 2-pin harness connector. Remove 2 switch mounting screws. See Fig 1. Set switch in position "A". See Fig 2. Check continuity between switch terminals No. 1 and 2. If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, replace door handle switch.
- Set switch in position "B". Check continuity between switch terminals No. 1 and 2. If continuity exists, switch is okay. If continuity does not exist, replace sliding door handle switch.
