Removal Procedure
Warning:
Refer to Brake Dust Warning Brake Dust Warning.
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Removal and Replacement.
3. Remove the front wheel drive shaft nut. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.
4. Remove the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement Front Brake Rotor Replacement.
5. Remove the front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement Front Suspension.
6. Remove the front brake shield (1).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the front brake shield (1).
2. Install the front wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement Front Suspension.
3. Install the front wheel drive shaft nut. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.
4. Install the front brake rotor. Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement Front Brake Rotor Replacement.
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation Removal and Replacement.
