Fill Plug Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.




2. Remove the fill plug (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Clean the fill plug and apply adhesive GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the threads.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the fill plug (1) and tighten to 39 Nm (29 lb ft).

3. Lower the vehicle.
