Removal Procedure
1. Remove the fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (15 Reg Cab With 26 Gal Tank) Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module ReplacementFuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (25/35 Series) Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module ReplacementFuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (15 Ext/Crew Cab With 26 Gal Tank) Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module ReplacementFuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement (15 Reg/Ext/Crew Cab w/34 Gal Tank) Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement.
2. Using two flat-bladed tools, carefully pull both locking tabs (1) outward while simultaneously lifting the level sensor.
3. Using a small bladed tool, push in the electrical terminals (1) while simultaneously pulling out.
Installation Procedure
1. Push in the electrical terminals (1) and ensure the terminals are secure.
2. Carefully insert the level sensor until the locking tabs (1) snap into the locking position.
3. Install the fuel pump module.
