Generator Bracket Replacement (V6)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (V8) Service and RepairGenerator Replacement (V6) Service and RepairGenerator Replacement (Diesel) Service and Repair.

2. Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement .

3. Remove the generator bracket bolts and nut.

4. Remove the generator bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the generator bracket.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the generator bracket bolts and nut and tighten to 41 Nm (30 lb ft).

3. Install the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement .

4. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (V8) Service and RepairGenerator Replacement (V6) Service and RepairGenerator Replacement (Diesel) Service and Repair.
