Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor













Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.
- Install the drain plug.

- Tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).






3. Disconnect the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) electrical connector.





4. Remove the OSS (Output Shaft Speed) sensor bolt, then remove OSS (Output Shaft Speed) sensor.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).






5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

6. NOTICE: The use of any other transmission fluid than specified can result in the transmission failing to operate in a normal manner or transmission failure.

Check, and as necessary, fill the transmission with transmission fluid.
