Brake Disc





Removal

1. Remove the wheel and tire.

2. NOTICE: Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.

Remove and discard the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts and position the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly aside.
- Support the brake caliper and anchor plate assembly using mechanic's wire.


3. Remove and discard the brake disc screw.

4. Thread a M10 bolt into the brake disc removal hole and tighten to press the disc off the hub.

Installation

1. Clean any rust or foreign material from brake disc and wheel hub.
- Use specified brake parts cleaner to clean the brake disc and hub mating surfaces.


2. Apply a thin coat of specified anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange.

3. Install the brake disc.

4. Install a new brake disc screw.
- Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).


5. Position the brake caliper and brake caliper anchor plate assembly and install 2 new bolts.
- Tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).

- Apply brakes several times to verify correct brake operation.


6. Install the wheel and tire.
