Remote Functions Receiver (RFR) Module









1. Remove the headliner. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the Remote Functions Receiver (RFR) module electrical connector.

3. Using a suitable tool (such as a trim removal tool), gently pry the RFR module away from the headliner.

4. NOTE: The RFR module is secured to the headliner with 3M Duramix(R) 4747 Super Fast Adhesive at the assembly plant. When installing the RFR module, make sure to use 3M Duramix(R) 4747 Super Fast Adhesive to secure the RFR module to the headliner in approximately the same position and orientation on the headliner.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
