Transmission Support Crossmember







Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Remove the 2 heat shield screws.
3. Support the transmission with a suitable jack.
4. Remove the 2 transmission support nuts.
5. Remove the 4 transmission support crossmember nuts.
6. Remove the 4 transmission support crossmember support bolts.
7. Remove the transmission support crossmember.

Installation

1. Position the transmission support crossmember and install the transmission support crossmember support nuts and bolts.
- Tighten the nuts to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).

2. Remove the transmission jack.
3. Install the 2 transmission support nuts.
- Tighten to 103 Nm (76 lb-ft).

4. Install the 2 heat shield screws.
- Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
