This article supersedes TSB 12-11-10 to update the vehicle model years, vehicle lines, Issue Statement and Action Statement.
ISSUE
Some 2011-2013 F-150, 2013 Edge, Explorer, Flex, Taurus, MKS, MKT and MKX vehicles equipped with Easy Entry/Easy Exit feature may exhibit the power telescoping/tilt steering column not returning to the correct position (customer set point) when the feature is enabled.
ACTION
Reprogram the steering column control module (SCCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 82.01 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2012.11 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
WARRANTY STATUS: Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage Warranty/ESP coverage limits/policies/prior approvals are not altered by a TSB. Warranty/ESP coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part and verified using the OASIS part coverage tool.
