Removal

WARNING: Disconnect the battery before servicing the DC-AC (Direct Current-Alternating Current) inverter or AC (Alternating Current) powerpoint to prevent the risk of high voltage shock. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

1. Disconnect the battery. REFER to Battery Disconnect .

2. Remove the RH (Right Hand) instrument panel side trim panel, instrument panel insulator and the glove compartment close out. REFER to Instrument Panel - Exploded View .

3. Remove the 3 bolts and position the RFA (Remote Function Actuator) module bracket aside.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).





4. Disconnect the 2 DC-AC (Direct Current-Alternating Current) inverter electrical connectors.

5. Remove the 3 nuts and the DC-AC (Direct Current-Alternating Current) inverter.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
