Washer Pump and Reservoir





Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the RH front fender splash shield.

3. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector.

NOTE: To prevent spilling windshield washer fluid, drain the windshield washer reservoir before removal.

Disconnect the washer pump hoses. For additional information, refer to C-Lock Coupler Description and Operation.

5. Remove the 2 windshield washer reservoir bolts and the windshield washer reservoir.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).


6. NOTICE: Do not operate the washer pump prior to filling the windshield washer reservoir. Failure to follow this instruction may result in premature pump failure.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill the windshield washer reservoir with windshield washer fluid.
