Audio Control Module (ACM) Self-Diagnostic Mode

Audio Systems Without Touchscreen

1. NOTE: If the Audio Control Module (ACM) is completely inoperative (does not power up), obtain the ACM (Audio Control Module) part number using the part number decal on the ACM (Audio Control Module).
Turn the ACM (Audio Control Module) on.


2. Operate the audio system in radio tuner (AM/FM) mode.

3. Press and hold the EJECT button, and within 1 second, press the SEEK UP button until the speaker walk-around test begins.
- The display indicates each speaker as it is tested.


4. NOTE: If the speaker walk-around test is the only test required, this procedure can be stopped after Step 3 by turning the ACM (Audio Control Module) off, or by selecting Exit using the audio system control buttons.
Once the speaker walk-around test is complete, the following information is available through the "BEZEL DIAGNOSTICS" menu using the audio system control buttons:

NOTE: The AHU Diagnostics refers to the ACM (Audio Control Module) and EFP Diagnostics refers to the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM).










5. To exit the self-diagnostic mode, turn the ACM (Audio Control Module) off.

Satellite Digital Audio Receiver System (SDARS) Module Electronic Serial Number (ESN) Retrieval - Vehicles Without Touchscreen

1. NOTE: If the Audio Control Module (ACM) is completely inoperative (does not power up), obtain the Electronic Serial Number (ESN) using the part number on the ACM (Audio Control Module) chassis.
Using the audio system control buttons select Menu.


2. Using the audio system control buttons select Sirius options.

3. Using the audio system control buttons select Show ESN.

Audio Systems With Touchscreen

1. NOTE: If the Audio Control Module (ACM) is completely inoperative (does not power up), obtain the ACM (Audio Control Module) part number using the part number decal on the ACM (Audio Control Module).
Turn the ACM (Audio Control Module) on.


2. Operate the audio system in radio tuner (AM/FM) mode.

5. To exit the self-diagnostic mode, press the "Exit Diagnostics" selection from the "BEZEL DIAGNOSTICS" menu.

1. NOTE: If the Audio Control Module (ACM) is completely inoperative (does not power up), obtain the Electronic Serial Number (ESN) using the part number on the ACM (Audio Control Module) chassis.
Turn the ACM (Audio Control Module) on.


2. Using the touchscreen menus press the SIRIUS button.

3. Once the SIRIUS main screen is displayed, use the touchscreen to select Options. The Electronic Serial Number (ESN) is displayed on the options screen.
