Washer Pump and Reservoir

Removal

1. Remove the battery tray.

2. Remove the windshield wiper reservoir nut and bolt.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).


3. Disconnect the filler hose from the reservoir.

4. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector and wiring harness locator.

NOTE: If necessary, drain the windshield washer reservoir after removal.

Disconnect the windshield washer hose and remove the washer pump and reservoir.


6. NOTICE: Do not operate the windshield washer pump before filling the windshield washer reservoir. Failure to do so could result in premature pump failure.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
