Blower Motor
Removal and Installation
All vehicles
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the battery tray.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the battery tray.
- To install, tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).
Vehicles equipped with A/C
4. Position the suction accumulator aside.
1. Remove the 3 screws.
2. Position the suction accumulator aside.
All vehicles
5. NOTE: To ease removal, align the flat edge of the blower motor mounting plate with the accumulator.
Remove the blower motor.
1. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
2. Remove the vent tube.
3. Remove 4 screws.
4. Remove the retaining clip.
5. Remove the blower motor.
6. Remove the blower motor wheel.
1. Remove the retaining clip.
2. Remove the blower motor wheel.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
