Ignition Lock Cylinder - Functional

Removal and Installation

NOTE: When a new lock cylinder is installed, the door lock cylinder and ignition lock cylinder should be installed as a set. This eliminates carrying an extra key which will fit only one lock. If a new key is used, the new key code number is stamped on a metal tag attached to the key.

1. Insert the key into the ignition lock cylinder and turn it to the RUN position.

2. Using a suitable tool, press the ignition lock cylinder release pin and remove the ignition lock cylinder.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
