Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: Support the Tool Link(TM) reader while the 2 screws are being removed. Do not allow it to hang from the electrical connectors.

Remove the 2 screws and the Tool Link(TM) reader.

- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

- If the Tool Link(TM) reader is being replaced, cut the power/ground feed from the vehicle electrical harness.


2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- If a new Tool Link(TM) reader is being installed, splice the new power/ground feed to the vehicle electrical harness.
