Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments
1999 Ford Ranger 2WD V6-3.0L VIN USECTION Adjustments
1. Remove the actuator cable clip.
2. Adjust the actuator cable.
1 Pull on the actuator cable to remove any slack.
2 Back off the actuator cable one notch.
NOTE:
- For proper operation, the actuator cable must not be pulled taut.
- The throttle body cam will automatically spring set to the closed position. The throttle body cam must be in the closed position.
3. Install the actuator cable clip.
1 Hold the speed control actuator cable.
2 Insert the actuator clip securely.
