Spark Plug Wire Remover:
Special Tool(s)
REMOVAL
CAUTION: Spark plug wires must be connected in the proper firing order. Mark spark plug wires before removing.
1. Use Spark Plug Wire Remover to pull the spark plug wire off the spark plug.
2. Squeeze the (A) locking tabs and remove the (B) spark plug wires from the (C) ignition coil.
3. Disconnect spark plug wire routing clips.
4. Remove the LH spark plug wires.
5. Remove the RH spark plug wires.
INSTALLATION
1. Apply Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound D7AZ-19A331-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M1C171A to the inside of the spark plug wire boots.
2. Make sure the spark plug wires are connected in the proper firing order.
3. Install the RH spark plug wires.
4. Install the LH spark plug wires.
