OPERATION
Voltage arcing between plug center and ground electrode produces the spark to ignite the air/fuel mixture.

CONSTRUCTION
Many spark plugs are made with an internal resistor, designed to reduce ignition system electrical interference with entertainment systems and computerized devices.
