REMOVAL

1. Disconnect Throttle Position (TP) sensor from fuel charging wiring (9D930).

2. Remove two TP sensor retaining screws.

3. Remove TP sensor.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: Slide rotary tangs into position over throttle shaft blade, then rotate TP sensor clockwise to installed position only. Failure to install the TP sensor in this manner may result in excessive idle speeds.

1. Install TP sensor. Ensure that rotary tangs on sensor are in proper alignment and that the red seal is inside the connector housing.

NOTE: This TP sensor is not adjustable.

2. Secure TP sensor to throttle body assembly with two retaining screws. Tighten to 1.5 Nm (14 in lb).

3. Connect fuel charging wiring connector to TP sensor.
